The formation of the IMIA-NI (Special Interest Group in Nursing Informatics of the International Medical Informatics Association) Open Source Working Group – OSNI for short – was approved at the 2003 General Assembly, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 22 June 2003. ***NEW WEBSITE:

OSNI will work with the main IMIA Open Source Working Group and other organisations and individuals, within and outside IMIA and IMIA-NI, to explore the potential application of open source and free software (including GNU/Linux) within nursing and nursing informatics. The IMIA-NI Open Source Nursing Informatics Working Group (OSNI) will bring together experts and interested individuals from nursing and nursing informatics backgrounds and who have a range of interests in the potential application of OSS/FS within their domains of expertise. |
